My client is a leading Media, Activations & Outdoor Digital Marketing company that has been operating across Africa for 20+ years. Due to their continuing expansion, there now exists an exciting full-time career opportunity for an experienced “sales maker” that has an established direct client and agency network in Ghana. The individual must be professional, assertive, self-confident and highly motivated by success. You must have meticulous presentation skills and be able to close deals. This role is mainly focused on Outdoor Sales so initiative, creativity and attention to detail are among essential qualities. Experience and a network in Outdoor Media is required – candidates will be tested on this.

My client wants a dynamic individual with a minimum of 5 years relevant sales experience who can work sales opportunities whilst developing new strategic sales channels both locally and across Africa. The successful candidate will mainly be tasked with managing all sales and services provided to clients on an international basis by ensuring that all campaigns deliver end results that meet organisational & client objectives.

To be considered for this job you must be able to demonstrate the following:

·        Sales and Marketing diploma or relevant degree

·        Fully Computer Literate in MS Office, Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

·        Minimum 5 years’ sales experience in advertising, sales & client service in the Media industry

·        Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a busy & pressured environment

·        Non-negotiable: A strong understanding and experience in Outdoor Media having worked both with clients directly and with agencies. Digital marketing knowledge & experience is a bonus.

You must possess a solid industry relevant network

·        Excellent presentation & negotiation skills

·        Your own reliable transport

·        Ability to travel both locally & abroad as and when required

·        Stable, provable track record in media & sales

·        Excellent written & verbal skills. Must be a great communicator

·        Client Service & relationship development

. Able to identify & create new business opportunities via cold calling & networking activities

A thorough understanding of client briefs, problem-solving skills and strong financial acumen is also required.
